Day 31--CHA CHA CHA

Drive Inverness to SanFrancisco

After an interesting walk on some of the other houseboat docks, Tim had some unexpected business to attend to, so Jess and I scooted back to her house and tied up loose ends there before going into the city in the afternoon. Met Justin Smith (Jess's college boyfriend) and his sister Gilian at Digipop, their place of business in the Mission District of SF.

The four of us went to dinner at a Spanish place called Cha, Cha, Cha. We had large bowls of spicy mussels, platters of shrimp in a spicy sauce, pickled shrimp & scallop salad, broiled potatoes, and pitchers of sangria—all very delicious.

After dinner we walked a few blocks to Letitia and Rick Hammond's house. It was great seeing Tish again and meeting her husband of 1 year.
